The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine
Overview
Blood and Wine is the second major expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The players will accompany Geralt of Rivia to the region of Toussaint, one of the few places in the Witcher universe which has remained largely untouched by the war. The calm, laid-back atmosphere holds a dark and bloody secret that only the White Wolf can uncover; the expansion features new items for players to collect on their adventure and introduces previously unknown characters.
Storyline
The monster hunter Geralt of Rivia travels to Toussaint, a picturesque duchy that has remained largely untouched by the war raging elsewhere. He accepts a contract from Duchess Anna Henrietta to track down a mysterious beast that has brutally killed several of the region's knights. As Geralt investigates the killings, he finds that the sunlit, wine-growing land hides darker secrets, and an old friend he believed dead resurfaces to complicate the hunt.
