Storyline

Serving as an alternate epilogue to the 2012 film, The Amazing Spider-Man returns to an open-world Manhattan some months after the movie's events. The uneasy calm shatters when a batch of cross-species experiments, born from Oscorp's continuation of Dr. Curt Connors' research, break loose across the city. The escaped creatures carry a deadly virus that begins to spread through the population, plunging Manhattan into a mounting biological crisis.
