Storyline

A spin-off within the Sonic Boom franchise, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric reunites Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy for an action-adventure with a heavier emphasis on exploration and combat than the traditional platformers. The tale begins as the heroes pursue their old nemesis, Doctor Eggman, a chase that leads them to stumble upon an ancient tomb marked with mysterious carvings tied to their own destiny. Their discovery awakens Lyric, the last of an ancient race, a ruthless and long-buried villain with designs on the powerful Chaos Crystals.
