Overview

Storyline

Bayonetta is an Umbra Witch who was awakened twenty years ago from the bottom of a lake with no memory of her past. She possesses one half of a pair of powerful jewels known as the Eyes of the World, and when her informant Enzo brings word that the missing other half may lie in the distant city of Vigrid, she sets out to claim it. Able to move between Paradiso and the human world of Chaos, Bayonetta cuts down the many angels sent to destroy her. Along the way she crosses paths with a mysterious witch named Jeanne, who seems bound to her forgotten history, and a young man named Luka who blames her for his father's death.
